This is a quilt we created at Next Step in Ballston Spa, the original program, in 2008. We used it as a backdrop to our booth at the Brain Injury Association's annual conference that year. It is proudly displayed in our program main hallway.

Each pair of flip flops was created by a different member. We used this theme to creatively suggest that each person is taking steps forward in their lives through their work at the program. Just like the different colors and combinations used, everyone here is a unique individual. We all agree that the idea of flip flops also shows that our journey together is filled with fun and the joy of living!
